Where the Ink Settles is a collaborative, asynchronous journaling roleplaying game for one to six players. Together, you step into the roles of a small caravan of cartographers, along with their shade companions, traveling across a freshly born land to map into permanence.
This game is played by sharing a single ledger and a map that you create during gameplay. Each player takes turns acting as the lead chronicler for a day of the journey—drawing a card to discover what happens, rolling a die to determine the outcome, and writing the final entry. The world is literally a blank page, and the shape the game takes depends solely on your imagination.
